To provide an organization within which individuals licensed in wisconsin to practice medicine & surgery can meet to discuss the quality, availabilty, advances, and promotion of surgical care and research. To inform the public and the legislative and executive branches of government on matters regarding health care & surgery. To provide an opportunity for informal and social contacts among persons interested in the practice and promotion of surgery in wisconsin.
