The membership program is the life blood of the society. It encompasses the governance of the society through its board of directors and the annual house of delegates. The society works in strong alliance with its county medical societies and maintains an active presence in the american medical association. the society offers education programs, process improvement and continued medical education credits through webinars and on-site education and consulting. the society has a strong voice at the state capitol as well as in washington, d. C. Staff travel the state to listen to the doctors' concerns. The society also takes physician leadership to washington to meet with wisconsin's representatives face to face, to discuss important legislative issues.
