The wisconsin concrete pavement association will be recognized as the statewide representative for the concrete pavement industry by providing a resource for education, developing new markets and technology, and fostering a membership dedicated to building a meaningful public and private partnerships for the purpose of promoting the use of concrete pavement as the best pavement value.

The wisconsin concrete pavement association provides engineering and technical services on the design, construction, and maintenance of concrete pavements for the members of the association. The association currently serves 19 contractor member companies, 7 cement companies, 7 chemical admixture companies, and 58 allied/associate member companies. the wisconsin concrete pavement association promotes and markets the use of concrete pavements and provides engineering and technical services for highways, airports, county roadways, and city streets. The wisconsin department of transportation is the association's main focus as it is responsible for all interstate and state highways as well as all airport facilities in wisconsin. In addition, the association worked with over 25 county highway departments and 60 cities in wisconsin on the design and construction of concrete pavement projects. the wisconsin concrete pavement association holds conferences, technical meetings, produces literature, maintains a website, and purchases technical and promotional literature from the american concrete pavement association, the portland cement association, and the national center for concrete pavement technology. The association held a large two-and-a-half-day technical conference in february 2017 in appleton, wisconsin, that was open to all state, city, county, and consulting engineers in addition to the members of the associaiton. About 340 people attended this conference. In addition, the association hosted, supported, and attended over 30 different conferences and short courses during the year to advance the engineering, science, and technology of concrete pavement and associated concrete products. About 50 meetings were held during 2017 with the wisconsin department of transportation (dot) for the purpose of working on engineering and technical issues regarding dot standards, specifications, or specific construction projects.
