To provide a forum for issues unique to women in radiology, radiation oncology and related professions: to sponsor programs that promote opportunities for women and to facilitate networking among members and other professionals.

The association sponsors lectures and discussions on topics of interest to women including career development, gender equality, mentoring in radiology and tailoring professional careers to help balance the needs of home and the workplace. The association develops refresher courses at other radiology association annual meetings and holds discussion sessions at major national radiology meetings. Members are provided with electronic newsletters related to radiation protection.
