To provide an educational, interactive industry forum and lobby that supports and promotes the global competitiveness, and acts in the best interests, of the north american wire and wire products manufacturers.

The association holds three meetings, annually, to provide the opportunity for members to gather and discuss new developments in the industry and share ideas for improvements. The annual meeting consists of general sessions, committee, board and business meetings, and occasions to discuss issues, seek advice, and provide information to colleagues within the industry. The government affairs conference is similarly structured but also includes visits to congressmen and women to discuss the industry and lobby on issues of importance. Finally, there is an annual meeting of operations managers, who hear presentations on operational issues, discuss common challenges and solutions, and tour member plants together.
