The american legion is a patriotic veterans organization committed to advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.

Membership consists of veterans and their sons. The legion sponsors picnics, dinners, dances, parades, conventions and other social events for the members and their families. The legion provides donations to local community groups and scholarships to local students persuing higher education. donations and assistance to local, charitable organizations and individuals. office management for coordinating board meetings, collecting and paying membership dues and office expenses, assisting veterans and various record-keeping duties.
