To expand the ministry outreach of the woodlands united methodist church and safeguard its future through charitable gifts that provide long-term financial support and a living memorial.

To date, the foundation has been focused on growing the endowment through congregation awareness in order to begin generating enough income to distribute grants. During 2017, the foundation provided numerous grants including scholarships to seminary students, funding for the woodlands united methodist church's missions programs and society of st. Stephen's benevolence program, as well as a scholarship for the woodlands methodist school. the woodlands united methodist church foundation operates a columbarium on the property of the woodlands united methodist church that houses 320 niches. During 2017, 20 niches were sold.
