The object of the society is to bring together people for the advancement of the study of children and their diseases, for the promotion of pediatric education and research, and to honor those who, by their contributions to pediatrics, have aided in its advancement.

Co-sponsoring of annual meeting of pediatric academic societies (pas)- share of revenues and expenses (see schedule o). recognition of individuals for making significant advances in pediatric medicine and support of pediatric research and educational organizations. provide communication tools for society members through a monthly subscription to pediatric research and a bi-annual directory of pediatric physicians, clinical trials, and council meetings to review current pediatric research.
