Leadership programs - the leadership lufkin program focuses on the identification and development of existing and potential leaders in angelina county while the leadership tomorrow program allows high school students to learn about opportunities in the community and find ways that they can give back to the community. During 2016, there were 51 participants in two classes of leadership lufkin and 50 participants in two classes of leadership tomorrow. Over the years, the leadership lufkin program has had over 700 graduates. science fair - event allows students in grades 6 through 12 to compete in science and technology-related competitions. There were approximately 1,550 participants representing 10 schools in the may 2016 fair. other various events and programs that are designed to educate and promote economic development. the business hall of fame program honors past prominent business leaders who have made extraordinary contributions to the community. In 2016, 2 members were inducted.
