Afft advocates for a national retail sales tax to replace the current income tax system.

Americans for fair taxation (afft) conducts research and disseminates public education information regarding the u. S. Tax system. Afft staff members and volunteers present speeches to chambers of commerce, rotary clubs, churches, and politically active groups on multiple partisan forums, (i. E. Libertarian, democratic, republican) discussing the impact of the national retail sales tax; afft participates in radio interviews, local and national television appearances talking about the need for tax reform and the economic effects of a national retail sales tax. Afft regularly updates research data on the effects of a national retail sales tax on various aspects of the economy. Afft works actively with allied groups, congressional hearings and the president's tax panel to educate them on the economic impact of a national retail sales tax.
