The ywca corpus christi's fitness program provided quality water and land aerobic classes, cardio and strength training, swimming, yoga, weight training, and tai chi to over 6,125 people of all levels of strength, flexibility and endurance. Focus is primarily for baby boomers and people with health challenges. the ywca corpus christi's community connection program developed strong self-esteem and leadership and enhanced transition to elementary and middle school for over 934 girls in 5th and 6th grades, conducted the 13th annual racial justice forum, the 7th annual diez y seis forum, held the 19th annual national week without violence campaign, and honored accomplished professional women at the 37th annual ywomen in career banquet.
