The mission of the alpine public library is to be a steward of the intellectual energy of the community, providing and promoting open access to reading and to cultural, informational, historical, and technological resources that will enrich all segments of our community, and to encourage life-long learning, acting as a catalyst for the free exchange of ideas and promoting literacy among all citizens.
