The mission of the organization is to promote, educate, and exchange information in the profession of clinical engineering.

Conducted monthly teleconferences on various topics in the field of clinical engineering involving participants from approximately 200 institutions throughout the united states and abroad. Provided advanced clinical workshops to clinical and biomedical engineers and technology management programs to hospitals and governmental administrators in developing countries. Provided educational symposiums to participants at annual meetings of information and clinical engineers. Managed who/paho/acce infratech internet discussion group.
