Women's services, inc. Strives to meet the needs of the children and adults of crawford county who are in crisis due to domestic violence, sexual violence, or homelessness, by developing and offering programs and services that meet those needs. Honoring the roots of the organization, we place special emphasis on the needs of women and children.
Domestic violence/shelter program - provides counseling and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and shelter, food and care for abused & homeless women and children. sexual violence program - provides educational programs to school children of sexual assault prevention and counseling and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault. other crises - provides shelter, food and care for women and their children who have a need for housing due to other crises such as homelessness or unsuitable living conditions. no amounts have been reflected for donated services since no objective basis is available to measure the value of such services. Total volunteer hours for all programs were 6,883 for the year.
