Adams Memorial Library and its three branches provide traditional and progressive public library offerings, including: programs for all ages; fun and useful online tools; homework help; outreach for people with limited access to our brick-and-mortar buildings; a vibrant collection of over 90,000 items (including Blu-rays, DVDs, music CDs, downloadables, MP3s, games, puzzles, magazines and of course books) with thousands more added each year; and highly-trained and willing reference staff who provide personal assistance when navigating through the world of information.
Unlike many organizations, our program and our organization are nearly identical. Our entire purpose for existing is to provide resources for people that they would not have access to or could not afford to buy or maintain as individuals. It is impossible to separate our "program" from our "collection" -- they are one and the same. No longer limited to merely physical objects, our collection includes online, downloadable, and electronic formats in addition to traditional ones available in print materials. We also offer the latest and best media offerings.
