Asbury woods partnership is to preserve asbury woods and provide all members of the community with meaningful environmental, educatinal and recreational experiences that inspire a greateer sense of awareness, sustainability and stewardship. Asbury woods provides free, year-round access to the nature center & its 205 natural acres that feature a trail system through diverse ecosystems of forests, fields & streams. The seasonal annual events become traditions for families & provide opportunities for people to gather & celibrate the heritage that makes erie county unique.

Environmental education & training. Asbury woods hosted 400 community programs & festivals that were attended by over 15,000 people. Visitors participated in programming such as beekeeping, nature photography, tree health, gardening & bio-diversity fieldwork. Volunteers donated 12,335 hours of service to community & school programs. 16 sessions of summer camp were offered over 9 weeks. Partnership staff educated 3,940 students and teachers from 23 area schools. nature gift shop exhibits and projects. One of the most popular attractions at the asbury woods nature center is the 12 indoor animal exhibits representing approximately 20 different species.
