Shall be to create, foster, & provide avenues of intelligent participation for the young members of zanesville in civic, state & national problems. To afford an opportunity for leadership. To create and foster civic conscienciousness. To provide a tolerance between it's members & between members & society.

Jaycees public golf course - to provide the community with a quality facility to play golf at an affordable rate. 4th of july celebration - to provide a public party to celebrate the fourth of july. It is called stars & stripes on the river and they sell glow necklaces during the event and have event sponsors. scholarship golf tournament - to provide scholarships to young men and women in the community to assist with the cost of higher education. kids christmas tour - is an event that allows less fortunate children to have christmas gifts and a party. The jaycees shop and purchase all the children's gifts and provide the party. The jaycees support many other non-profit entities by purchasing items at their auctions or by just simply donating to the organization. They also meet weekly at the club property to plan, conduct business, and have fellowship. They have a year-end banquest to celebrate the officer changeover and honor outstanding sevice for the past year.
