Education
Early care & education: 792 early care educators attended training workshops; 59 child care providers received continuing education units; 223 child care facilities and 39 family child care homes received technical assistance; 40 programs for school-aged children received technical assistance; 654 preschool-aged children and 149 school-aged children received referral services. family support: 31 parent/guardians participated in our parents as teachers activity funded by smart start; 72 parents participated in two circle of parents groups; 22 families were served in three incredible years parent education course series; 10 families were served by the safecare home visiting program. health and safety: 151 child care providers attended health and safety training workshops; average pre-training survey score for understanding training information was 3. 35, post-training score averaged 4. 42; average pre-training survey score for implementing training information was 3. 18, post-training score averaged 4. 46; 57 child care facilities received at least one on-site consultation from a smart start funded cchc; 1,924 children enrolled in the child care facilities received an on-site consultation from a cchc.
