Community action fund - to financially support nursing scholarships and other non-profit's service projects that are health related, educational or charitable, that will benefit the local community. This fund has provided funds to 7 organizations during this fiscal year. opioid misuse community education - this event was to raise public awareness as well as educate the medical community about the opioid crisis. It was held on september 7, 2017 at the saint mary's regional medical center in reno, nv , with an attendance of approximately 135. endowment fund - this fund was started in april 2018 in the amount of $100,000, with the goal of establishing a sustainable and durable means to fulfill the organization's mission.
