The exempt purpose of the trust is to educate electricians in the methods of electrical construction and telecommunications installations.

The trust educated over 400 apprentices & also trained journeyman electricians improving their skills. Apprentices learned the basic skills required of an electrician, and journeyman skills were upgraded in code updates and applying new methods.
