The mission is to create a vibrant design district in the city of annapolis, that builds a "cool" urban neighborhood where leading home design, showroom, arts and other innovative/entrepreneurial businesses can create, collaborate and enjoy.

To promote member businesses through cooperative marketing, business development, public relations and advocacy in governmental issues. To foster creativity and collaboration amoung members through sponsoring special events which are interesting, educational and fun, and to improve the district's appearance by encouraging better, attractive streetscape and landscape design.
