To advance the arts and sciences of radio communications and control and the orderly and efficient allocation and utilization of the electromagnetic spectrum as connected to or employed in aeronautical and space flight, evaluation of vehicles, spacecraft, related devices or major components thereof or as may otherwise affect the interest of the aerospace industry.

Programs

Counsel and research aimed at fcc rule-making proceedings and legislative actions involving the protection and preservation of radio spectrum used for flight testing; cousel for consultations held with dept of state, dept of commerce, dept of defense and the ntia. The advice and guidance of counsel is available to the entire membership on matters of mutual concern. These activities benefit the membership, the flight test community, manufacturers of aircraft and their major components and the aviation industry as a whole. john hopkins conducts research studies vital to the protection of the spectrum allocated to the aircraft industry. Research is also conducted to prevent and correct interference issues and is open to member companies with common interests. general membership meetings - these meetings are held for the purpose of operating the organization, sharing information with members, sharing information with other members of the flight test community and various federal regulatory agencies and the general education of member representatives.
