Apai conducted scientific annual conference, where physicians and reseachers presented thier scientific findings related to pancreas diseases, to educate others and encourage research collaborations. Over 500 physician and scientists attended the meeting in 2014. Awards were given to young investigators to offset their travel costs and encourage their participation in the meeting.
