The mission of arts on grand is to build community awareness of the visual and performing arts by making the arts accessible to all people in spencer, iowa and the surrounding northwest iowa area.

Art classes were offered for children and adults all year; the gallery shop provided a local store front presence for local artists to sell their art to the general public. Participating artists numbered over 100. Rotating art exhibits and outreach programs were held in conjunction with the clay county fair, local schools, iowa lakes community college, spencer municipal hospital, spencer chamber of commerce, girl scouts, toastmasters, ymca & early head start which impacted over 3,000 people. The art gallery is open year round. The organization sponsored several live music concerts. Over 5,000 people had direct contact with the organization this past year.
