Appanoose community care reaches out to both disabled and elderly individuals by providing a variety of home-based services
Home care - health care aides provided care for aged and disabled persons in their own home. Approximately 65 patients per week were provided service during the fiscal year ended june 30, 2017. 18-18 club - a social center maintained for senior citizens. Meals are served on weekdays from the local area agency on aging. Meals are provided to an average of 84 senior citizens each day. Approximatelyy 135 individuals per week took part in various 18-80 club activities throughout the year. lifeline - an emergency response system for the elderly. At the end of the fiscal year, approximately 130 households had lifelines installed.
