The american association of directors of psychiatric residency training is a national organization of psychiatrist training directors whose missions is to promote excellence in psychiatry residency training. This is a membership organization that supports residency training through development of curricula and assessment tools, creation and dissemination of pedagogic methods & professional development of its members through continuing education, and advocacy with scientific, governmental and credentialing institutions involved with psychiatry residency training. An annual meeting is the focus of the group's activity, with committees and task forces working throughout the academic year. fellowships awarded to selected individuals at annual meetings.
