To manage, promote, expand upon and continuously improve certification programs for allied health professionals who work in a variety of disciplines and settings; to administer certification examinations in accordance with the highest standards of accreditation; and to provide continuing education, information, advocacy services and other benefits to members.

Certification - amt provides exam-based certification programs in laboratory, medical and dental office, and health education specialty areas. membership - amt provides member programs and services to approximately 76,600 healthcare professionals in order to improve the care of patients. Amt offers continuing education, career services, and leadership opportunities to its members. education - amt provides educational opportunities in its national convention, state society meetings and seminars, step online continuing education, webinars, and on-demand courses. Amt issues publications containing articles and news on technical and scientific developments, amt, the industry and profession, and legislative updates. advocacy - amt provides advocacy services on key legislative and regulatory developments. Amt reports on such advocacy efforts and any applicable changes in laws and regulations to its members.
