The hospital also is certified as a primary stroke center by the joint commission and the american heart association/american stroke association. The hospital's women's imaging center has been designated by the american college of radiology as a breast imaging center of excellence, and its sleep disorders center has been accredited by the american academy of sleep medicine. The hospital also has received echocardiography accreditation from the intersocietal accreditation commission. In 2016, abh treated more than 5,996 inpatients, performed 895 inpatient surgeries and delivered 1,012 babies.
