Core program - the youth job center (yjc) prepares youth ages 14-25 for success in the workplace by providing job-readiness training, job placement, and employment support in partnership with employers. Over 1,500 youth received services through yjc's core programs. Included in the core program are satellite offices at evanston township and roger c. Sullivan high schools, the high school summmer tutor programs, job readiness training programs (jrt) and services provided at the community technology center (ctc). the career pathways programs provide intensive career pathway training, education, and employment to at-risk youth ages 18-25 who face multiple barriers to employment. women invested in learning and livelihoods (w. I. L. L. ) provides a bridge of support for young women over the age of 18 who are already employed by equipping them with the necessary information, resources and tools to advance in their careers. other program services include the cradle to career (c2c) initiative which is a collective impact effort to mobilize evanstion's community assets to make a lasting difference in the lives of the community's children, youth, and families.
