Over the course of 2017, 16,850 loans were approved, and we extended $295,851,013 to our members. total shares increased 6. 28% in 2017, ending the year with a balance of $606,942,062. 1st midamerica credit union ended 2017 strong with 65,451 members. Overall membership grew 7. 24%. We completed mergers with operating engineers credit union and madco employees credit union. 1st midamerica credit union issued 2,196 certificates of deposit in 2017. The total origination amount of all cd's was $70,849,265.
