Thepurpose of meeting was educational in nature and workshops andsessions given to enable participants to learn the latestdevelopment in the field of implant dentistry. publication of journal-circulation of the international journal oforal and maxillofacial implants approximates 5,000. grants and awards - the academy contributed $81,000 to theinternational association for dental research. Dental awards aregiven to the outstanding students at leading dental schools asrecommended by each school's faculty. In 2017, 58 awards weremade.
