Programs

The organization will reach out to the community to improve bay county, florida and to facilitate the community's relationship with its construction contractors. This will occur via membership service days and donations to various community projects and/or not for profit initiatives. At a minimum, each year the organization will choose a community partner to assist the organization will help nonprofit or governmental agency initiatives such as the bay county sheriff's office project 25. Project 25 helps 1,000 children have a gift to open on christmas. The organization believes this fosters goodwill for the community and its construction contractors and makes bay county, florida a better place to live and work. the organization will provide opportunities for construction contractors and affiliated businesses to gather together to network, share ideas and discuss issues affecting their specific industry within bay county, florida. Major events will be held each spring and fall, and monthly meetings are held on the first tuesday of each month. Monthly meetings will be held at a rented facility as the organization does not have its own building or meeting facility. Major events will be held at sites where the use is donated by members of the organization. the organization will provide continuing education and safety classes for its members and their employees from time to time in order to fill gaps in training for bay county, fl. Bay county, florida is 1 1/2 hours from dothan, al, 2 hours from tallahassee, fl, and 2 1/2 hours from pensacola, florida. There is an identified need for classes that are offered at a convenient time and local location for the members and their employees. The organization will also work with bay county's local vocational school, tom p. Haney technical center, to design training programs that will offer a supply of qualified trained labor and also provide these same individuals with quality jobs in bay county, fl. Osha 30 classes have already been held and future classes will be ongoing and recurring based on needs and requests of the membership base.
