Continue the healing ministry of christ by providing accessible, quality healthcare services at a reasonable cost in an atmosphere that fosters respect and compassion.

Baptist health properties, inc. (bhp) owns and manages various real estate properties that are primarily leased to various healthcare-related entities that are part of baptist health system, inc. (bhs), an exempt 501(c)(3) charitable hospital system located in northeast florida, as well as other 501(c)(3) medical-related entities. These properties include medical office buildings within close proximity to bhs's four hospitals, free parking lots for employees and patients, and vacant land for future use. During the tax year, construction was completed of a new emergency center and an adjacent medical office building to serve the population in northern duval county. Bhp owns and manages this facility which opened subsequent to the tax year in february, 2017. This facility also includes a ymca and healthy living center for the residents of the community. Bhp started construction during 2017 on a third medical office building and a new parking garage at the south campus to accommodate the increasing demand for medical office space in that area. Bhp started construction of a new parking garage at our downtown campus. That garage is expected to open in february 2018. Bhp completed construction of an expanded emergency room at our nassau campus. Finally, bhp started an expansion of the emergency room at our beaches campus.
