The association of clinical research organization (acro) represents the world's leading clinical research organizations. Acro's members provide specialized services that are integral to the development of drugs, biologics, and medical devices. Acro advances clinical outsourcing to improve the quality, efficiency, and safety of biomedical research. Acro's priorties in 2016 included: us advocacy efforts on tax legislation and the 21st century cures act; eu advocacy on the clinical trials regulation; and the development of the cro forum to interface with transcelerate biopharma inc.
