Winding trails, inc. Is a non-profit organization serving people from farmington and surrounding communities, providing year round recreational and educational activities for the enjoyment and growth of families and individuals of all ages. Winding trails is dedicated to conservation and stewardship of the natural woodlands and waterways that allow outdoor programming, character development, and other activities that strengthen the lives of those we serve.

Recreation and education- winding trails offers hiking and biking trails, a variety of programs for all ages, nature education andteam building for school groups. camps- winding trails runs an aca accredited 8 week summer day camp as well as full and half day sports camps and adventure camps. cross country- winding trails offers the only full service cross country ski center in ct. It offers ski rentals, lessons and a retail shop. There are 20km of groomed trails.
