The mission of the yvsict is to protect and enhance water quality, trout habitat and riparian areas in the yampa valley and adjacent drainages in northwest colorado, and to educate the public and enhance awareness of environmental water issues. The yvsict raises funds, provides manpower and works in cooperation with various local, state and federal agencies to improve and enchance our local waters and riparian areas.

Burgess creek and pleasant valley projects - improvement of fish habitat, planting of banks with native riparian species, ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements associated with above efforts.
