Association for community living in boulder county promotes attitudes, practices, programs and policies that enable people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be included as a natural and integral part of community life.
Volunteerism/membership/public information: the association has more than 200 members, 10% of whom volunteered. Approximately 30% of volunteers are non-members who support the exempt mission statement of the association. advocacy: individual advocacy services were provided to over 254 persons with developmental disabilities, with the emphasis on integration in schools and adult community activities. training: the organization provides training to parents of children, and adults with developmental disabilities, and those who educate them or provide other services.
