Academy for advanced and creative learning (aacl) is a k-8 open-enrollment charter school that is authorized by district 11 colorado springs. Aacl specializes in advanced learners and serves students who are gifted, advanced, creative, and twice-exceptional. The school served 265 students during the 2014-2015 fiscal year. Students include those living within district 11 and also students coming from outside the district within the pikes peak region.
