The amador county business council is dedicated to developing and supporting the community. It is composed of business leaders who have joined together to address key issues affecting the community. The goal is to organize and use the professional leadership of local businesses to collaborate with and assist local government in the successful development of business of key countywide economic issues.

The amador business council assisted the county in ecomonic growth and economic gardening for countywide business growth, and also helped with the amador water agency's rate consolidation plan. The focus remains the exploration of economic oppurtunity for amador county.
