Anaheim aquatics association was established to promote the sport of swimming in the city of anaheim, california and surrounding communities, provide a wholesome athletic activity which promotes healthy physical development and growth.

Surround team members with a positive and constructive atmosphere to encourage and provide swim instructions and coaching year round for all levels and abilities for age groups four through eighteen years for the city of anaheim and surrounding communities and provde opporutnity for youth participation in competitive swimming. The swim instructions and coaching are carried out under contract with the anaheim parks and recreastion department and held year round at pearson park and canyon high school monday through friday. Swimmers participate in regularly scheduled competitive swimming meets. The organization is sanctioned by southern california swimming and united states swimming. About 100 to 150 swimmers participate in the program.
