American canyon parent teacher organization was organized to foster a supportive relationship between teachers, parents and students of american canyon middle school, and to provide supplemental funding sources to support scholastic and extracurricular activities for the students.

Funds were used to supplement classroom materials and supplies, to buy books for the library, to improve the school campus and grounds, to fund special projects for the teachers, to allow students to participate in special events, assemblies, and field trips.
