The organization's primary purpose is to promote the education of the general public in the preservation and operation of antique farm equipment.

The associaton held two shows, open to the general public. The gross receipts were derived mainly from gate and show receipts, silent auctions, appearance fees, vendor fees, equipment raffles and slaes of hats, shirts and buttons. Although there is a fundraising nature to these shows, the net amounts realized are to fund contributions and maintenance of quiopment owned and maintained by the association. This equipment is commonly displayed at these events and the expenses of moving and storage, as well as preservation (repairs and maintenance) are included herein. Farm equipment is antique in nature and maintained from year to year to hold its value.
