Mission

The alabama association of realtors, inc. Is a not-for-profit membership organization exempt from income tax under section 501 (c)(6) of the u. S. Internal revenue code. The association was formed to unite alabama real estate professionals for the protection and advancement of real estate interests, to adopt and enforce the code of ethics of the national association of realtors, and to encourage and maintain high standards of conduct in the transaction of real estate business.

Programs

Member services division - offers products and services, board assistance, equal opportunity, dues billing and remittance, and facilities planning for association events. education division - offers training in ethics, professionalism, instructor development, skill enhancement, personal development, and specialized topics. governmental affairs division - promotes legislation benefiting the real estate industry and private property rights, and actively opposes legislation which could endanger the property rights of alabama citizens and the real estate industry. communications and public relations division - publishes porch & property magazine and provides services to keep association members and the public well-informed as to information on association projects, activities, and industry trends and statistics.
