To bring olympic sport and the ideals of the olympic movement to the youth of chicago through sports training programs, international competitions and exchanges, and integration with olympic athletes and coaches.

Bam sports program: the becoming a man sports edition (bam-sports) program combines an in-school male character development curriculum with after-school sports featuring olympic-type sports not traditionally available at inner-city chicago public schools. Under the guidance of trained clinical counselors and service corps sports mentors, the young men develop social and emotional skills along with six core bam-sports values: accountability; integrity; self-determination; positive anger expression; respect for womanhood; and visionary goal setting. scholars program: the world sport chicago scholars program provides college admissions counseling and support to promising youth in under-served communities of chicago. Additionally, the program provides financial support for college tuition to the top performers in the scholarship program based on their leadership skills and commitment to the olympic values. There are over 200 scholars of which about 50 receive college financial support. playstreets chicago: a part of the chicago department of public health's healthy chicago, playstreets chicago encourages neighborhood organizations and residents to join their neighbors in getting active and moving. Throughout the summer, pop-up play spaces are created by temporary traffic and parking restrictions that are granted through the support of those living on the block.
