The objective of apopka raptors is to teach youth the fundamental skills of football and cheerleading. To provide them with the opportunity to play in safe, organized and supervised environments and venues. To teach them that academics and athletics should be joint, communal efforts.

Opportunities to play in safe, organized and supervised environments. currently there are five football and five cheerleading teams. The average number of players per football team is 30, and the average number of cheerleaders per team is 10.
