The objective of the local league is to firmly implant in the children of yucaipa the ideals of good sportsmanship, fair competition, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority so they may be well adjusted, strong and happy children who will grow to be good, decent, trustworthy and valuable citizens. All members and directors shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills or the winning of games is secondary and that the molding of future citizenry is the primary objective
