Our core mission is to declare the good news about jesus christ through the "message of the 2nd thief" on the cross. We accomplish this mission by encouraging believers to enjoy the fullness of love, joy, peace and freedom that is only found in walking in our heavenly father's grace, which is sufficient for us. We teach this foundational truth that is clearly found in god's word. God equips believers for ministry in the "marketplace" just he equips those involved in full time ministry. By discovering your gifting and using it for god, life becomes the "great adventure. " 2nd thief ministries is made up of multiple components that provide platforms to teach, encourage and deliver the 2nd thief message to god's people.

Angel tree outreach - this is and outreach that specifically shares the good news and ministers to the children of prisoners during christmas. We partner with prison fellowship ministries (pfm) and through them receive requests from incarcerated parents to help them celebrate christmas with their children. Usually 30-40 children, mostly in the area, are sponsored directly or through directed donations of others for 40 dollars each. The ministry buys and wraps christmas gifts and presents them to the children at a christmas party held for them. We have delivered these gifts to homes in person where necessary and ministered to children as far away as tn. sight and sound outreach - most years we take a tour bus up to lancaster country, pa to see a christian production at the sight and sound theaters. This outreach includes the ministry purchasing tickets and reserving a tour bus. The ministry subsidizes part of the cost for travel and in some cases covers all the cost for travel and tickets for a few needy participants. 2nd thief fellow - we gather together on sundays to worship the lord in spirit and truth. We pray, celebrate the lord's supper, provide preaching and teaching from god's holy bible, and praise god in music and song and water baptize followers of jesus christ. We do not hand out church bulletins, but rather send out emails to conserve the environment that we have been entrusted with. These emails include, church times and locations prayers request, and upcoming events.
