To provide jewish communal assistance to individuals experiencing medical and other crisis. More specifically: hospital and home visitations and assistance of the sick and elderly and their families by community volunteers; develop and maintain a list of community volunteers for donating blood and sponsor community blood drives; facilitate the provision of first aid and cpr workshops; assist individuals with referrals to medical specialists; aid to families requiring medical equipment, kosher food, clothing and any necessities required in emergencies; assist families in time of bereavement; analyze and assess communal needs and advocate for new or expanded services; assistance to other religious, charitable, educational and communal institutions with similar programs; to act as an information and referral resource and to do any other act or thing incidental or connected with the forgoing purposes or in advancement thereof.
