The primary purpose of this organization are to serve a small urban community celebrating the sabbath and the holy days of the jewish annual cycle and to provide that community with a place of prayer. This organization also intends to provide pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, chaplaincy care, officiating of weddings, funerals, baby namings, ritual circumcisions, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs and preparing counseling for all of these major life milestones. Finally, this organization intends to provide outdoor religious experiences, end of life counseling and theological counseling.

The organization's grand opening was held on september 6, 2015 and was attended by about 100 individuals. Since then about 30 to 40 attend the organization's high holy day services on a weekly basis.
