Programs

The Notes from the Heart Music Program is a year-round program that provides children with disability and chronic illness, who express an interest or display musical talent, an opportunity to leave the audience and take a prominent place on stage. A stellar line-up of world-class musicians, conductors, and artists volunteer their time to teach children with special needs to sing, appreciate music, compose musical scores and play instruments during the Notes from the Heart Music Camp and weekend retreats throughout the school year. In addition to attending classes and workshops during this one-of-a-kind summer experience, the children who range in age from 8 to 18 culminate the event by performing in a free public outdoor concert entitled ?Bringing out the Stars? under the direction of renowned conductors.
